To save, explore and share the art of Asian Cinema
The Asian Film Archive (AFA) is recruiting one intern for 3 months from end August to November 2015.

Skills required:
  1. Undergraduates or fresh graduates in any discipline
  2. Adept in Microsoft Office and/or Adobe applications (e.g. Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign)
  3. Meticulous with good research skills good spoken and written English
  4. Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in a second language (eg. Mandarin, Malay) is a bonus
  5. Resourceful, creative and displays initiative
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. A positive learning and working attitude

The internship will involve you in the various aspects of the Archive’s work, including planning and coordinating projects. The multi-faceted internship will provide supervision, feedback and training opportunities, allowing you to develop skills in amongst other things:

  • planning and management of different Projects
  • meeting and liaising with people from both the private and public sectors
  • writing articles and opinion pieces
  • appreciating Asian films
  • learning archival and preservation processes
